Dinner Art
Bubba, Bailey and I went to dinner Saturday night with our friend Rick. Bailey likes the Green Turtle because it has lots of TV's - which is the same reason I like it. She was very good and drew a portrait of us all while waiting on dinner to come.

Saturday at the YMCA
Bailey is taking a few classes at the YMCA this fall. She has a gymnastics class on Tuesday evening and has a swimming class and an art class on Saturday mornings. We just got back and, although she is worn out now, she had a great time. Here is her art work from today's class - an "Elephant" and "Spongebob and Friends".

My Trip to the Beach

I went to the beach. At the beach I went in the water. I built a big big sand castle. It had really pretty seashells on it. I buried Ms. Jeri's feet and then she said - "Where's my feet?"

Bailey's First Story
Here is a story Bailey wrote in school last week. You have to sound the words out, but it is a pretty nice little story in my opinion. 
Here's what is says:
I went on a walk. It was fun. I went to the ice cream shop. The ice cream was yummy. I like ice cream. It was in a cone. The flavor was chocolate and the other flavor was chocolate chip cookie dough.

Bailey's First Letter
So Bailey sat down this evening and worked very hard at this letter. She would not let me see it until she was finished. :)
